CORE is a community oriented renewable energy company that designs, develops, constructs, operates and manages renewable energy projects, playing an active role in all renewable energy sectors. We specialize in intelligent energy planning and operations management for power projects incorporating multi-renewable energy systems, including wind, solar, biomass; small to large scale storage solutions including batteries, compressed air, fuel cells, and backup diesel generators.Our systems have been designed for autonomous or micro-grid island networks in the tropics and the Caribbean region. Icing experiments on wind turbine blade profiles have been performed at the University of Manitoba Icing Tunnel Facility to facilitate a greater understanding of the mechanisms involved in the icing process for wind turbines exposed to cold climates.

Performance evaluation of Yuchai Engine working with Biodiesel.

At the present work, the authors obtain the engine outer velocity characterization working with Biodiesel and its mixtures, and show the chemical composition of the exhaust gases respect to NOx. Is observed a decrease in the engine performance when the Biodiesel per cent is growing.
